What it is
A microphone that records the room.
Picture a door into a great-sounding room, with two microphones inside. A tensioned steel plate is the microphone’s diaphragm; it moves with the air in your space while you play. The two mics on the plate capture that motion - new information, phase-coherent with the take, not a tail added to a signal you have already recorded.
One lever moves the plate’s damping from a tight room to a long hall. No DSP, no convolution. Only physics.
Finishes
Solid oak, woven cloth, four finishes.
European oak, clear-coated honey or stained black, beneath a blond or black woven grille. The same carpentry in every pairing - choose the one that belongs in your room.
